Samsung plans on mass producing the world's first touch function AMOLED panel (Phone Arena News)

There’s no doubt that Samsung has been in the forefront of consistently using AMOLED displays on their handsets – no one can even come close to what they do in that category. Touchscreens are traditionally made by separately connecting the display and touch panel together.

Samsung now plans on mass producing the first ever AMOLED panel with built-in touch technology sometime in March. The upcoming display will be 3.3” in size with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution – the touch sensor is a mere 0.001 mm; which allows the screen to provide high quality images.

It’s a feat to behold because it marks the first time that a touch sensor is placed over an AMOLED substrate. One of Samsung’s representatives stated, “Through mass production, we want to make this touch embedded AMOLED panel number one in the LCD and AMOLED market. Also, we want to mass produce touchscreens and construct a system so that we can expand the display market.”

Even with this breakthrough design, let’s just hope manufacturing costs can be trimmed down so that the end result will be more inexpensive than past creatio

Broke my original Samsung recharger a few weeks back. Called AT&T. No help, the Samsung product was 'ancient' to them. Looked for the exact charger on Amazon. Found it. Ordered two. Received same in mail, in a few days. The chargers are brand new. Tested both, they work great. Many thanks to Amazon for still carrying this 'ancient' and particular product. Does it work? Kind of. It worked on my wife's cell phone if she turns the phone off during charging. My cell phone it actually drained the battery. I have a cheap Samsung phone. My wife has a nicer Samsung phone.



So for the price, I guess it is ok but I would not purchase it again.

I bought what I thought was the SYNC SGH-A707 Charger. What I got was not that it had a different look, number everything. So I though well I might as well try it. When I went to try to use it (it said on the box that you could leave your phone on ect.) my phone kept turning on and off over and over, one right after the other. I e-mailed the company and they sent a message the next day saying to try it because it should work and if I still had a problem contact them again. Even the packing slip said it was the charger I ordered. So I tryed it with my phone off and it did charge. I'm glad for that at least. I didn't have time to send that back and wait for another thats why I payed extra for shipping. If I had known they were going to send a generic charger I would have bought from another company. Never once did they say sorry or try to see if things were ok. The only reason I gave a 3 is because at least I can get it to charge my phone (even if it has to be off). I'd never buy from them again unless I HAD to. Be careful!!!!

The charger did not work! It's my fault for even thinking that something that costs pennies would work. The charger itself was a cheap replica of the original samsung charger. Anyways, future customers please be aware and do no purchase items that have a price which is too good to be true!
